PromptHive ("we", "our", "us") operates the website at prompthive.cc. We provide a free AI prompt library, prompt creation tools, and learning resources. For privacy questions, contact us at hello@prompthive.cc.

We collect only the minimum information needed to run the service:

• Account information — Email address, display name, and username when you create an account (via email/password or OAuth).
• Content you create — Prompts, descriptions, and other content you submit to the platform.
• Usage data — Pages visited, prompts viewed, and features used. Collected in aggregate via Vercel Analytics (anonymized, no cross-site tracking).
• Authentication tokens — Secure session tokens stored in cookies to keep you signed in.

We do not collect payment information, phone numbers, or location data.

Your information is used solely to:

• Operate your account and provide personalization (saved prompts, bookmarks).
• Display your public profile and prompts to other users (if you choose to make them public).
• Improve the service based on aggregate usage patterns.
• Send transactional emails (password reset, email verification). No marketing emails without explicit opt-in.
• Comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share data only with:

• Supabase — Provides authentication and database storage. Data is stored in the EU (Frankfurt region by default).
• Vercel — Hosts the application. Vercel Analytics provides privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics.
• Legal authorities — If required by law or to protect the rights and safety of users.

We use cookies for:

• Authentication — Keeping you signed in (session cookie, expires when you log out or after 30 days).
• Preferences — Remembering your display preferences.

We do not use tracking cookies or advertising cookies. Third-party cookies are not set.

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. You can request deletion at any time by emailing hello@prompthive.cc. Public prompts you created may remain visible with your username removed unless you explicitly request removal.

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Correct inaccurate data.
• Request deletion of your account and associated data.
• Export a copy of your data.
• Withdraw consent at any time.

PromptHive is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has created an account, please contact us immediately so we can delete it.

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via a notice on the site or by email. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page always reflects the most recent revision.
